We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

Nutrition and menu.

Our philosophy is to offer children the best possible nutrition. We offer high quality home-made food to kids. We provide organic milk, juices, fruits and vegetables. Fast food, chips, soda and candy are not allowed. We've signed up for the government program called the "Nutrition Food Program". Our menu is continuously checked by inspectors of the "Nutrition Food Program". We've received many positive parent's reviews on the nutrition and menu choices in our Sunshine Russian-American Child Care.

Our curriculum.

Every day kids have lessons in the following subjects: music, gymnastics, bicycle-riding, drawing, clay creations, reading (Russian literature), Russian language, math and science for kids. All lessons are taught by experienced teachers. Children 4 years old and older also have English language lessons which help to prepare them for their upcoming elementary school years.

Music lessons.

30 minutes per day kids have music lessons with a very experienced music teacher. Every lesson is a fun-filled journey to the world of games, music, singing and dancing.

Sunny Day Fieldtrip.

On sunny days from 9 am until 12:30 pm we have a fieldtrip. On those days we go to various interesting places like Seattle's Zoo, Seattle's Aquarium, libraries in Bellevue and Kirkland, animal farms, swimming pool, parks and playgrounds. Usually we let parent know about upcoming field trip location on Wednesdays. Parents will then decide if their child will go on the specific field trip. They could opt out and the child will stay in the Sunshine facility with one of our teachers and will have private lessons until the entire group returns from the trip. Every child is required to have a car seat if travels in a car.

Birthdays and holidays.

Every student of our "Sunshine Daycare" childcare will have his or her birthday celebration prepared specially for him or her. We invite an "Emcee", a professional clown, and an animator. We want every birthday boy or girl to feel very special. We also organize and prepare school's celebrations for the big holidays like New Year Celebration, Thanksgiving and others.

Parents' private time.

Dear parents! There are times when you need time for yourselves, your friends and relatives. Or there are times when you simply need some rest and relaxation. We will be happy to watch you kids any day and time - just let us know beforehand and we will be happy to provide this special service for you.
